This poem is painfully beautiful. Though I made a vow to myself a few years ago not to read your posts in the AM - I really needed this today. Thank you for the inspiration.

Thank you for reading it! I have to admit I am curious as to the reason for choosing not to read my posts in the AM. Care to share why? :-))

I love the elegance of your writing...impecable...I agree with you but the voice becomes noise when it lacks the elegance, diplomacy, tact and emotional intelligence for creativity to have the desired impact and be the light...when all is dark...your piece reminds me of the Guernica, dark, elegant, diplomatic art with neutral colors that intends to state a strong opinion on war but it’s hidden in your interpretation of the painting...some will only see geometric shapes, others will see it’s true meaning and the horrors of war...so yes, art should be published whether or not people will understand the hidden meaning, or whether or not it’s disturbing, it’s still art...

Just before we will receive your new letter, wanted to say: Never stop inspiring us Alexi. I truly believe that in this human jungle we need the sensitive voice to shake our conscience or wake up hope, as any efficient transformation would not be possible in the history of humanity, without a wise voice rocking us softly and preparing for those changes! So please do continue write, inspire and share your thoughts with us! Amen 🙏have an enjoyable weekend

I used to go on IG soon after waking up in the morning and whenever you had a poem posted (which you often did) I would read it and spend the morning either ugly crying into my coffee, questioning life choices in the loo, wondering why we were put on this earth, missing my deceased loved ones…all before 8am. I finally said BASTA , this mad poet must be banned until 12pm (or at least until after that never ending drop off)!
